Power Supply

ProblemSolution

Power is not being supplied to the printer.

After turning on the printer, the display panel remains blank.

The printer turns on briefly, but then the display goes blank and the printer motor and fan stop running.

The power cable may be disconnected or may not be completely plugged into the electrical outlet. Turn off the printer and check the power cable connections between the printer and the electrical outlet; then turn the printer back on.

The problem may be with the electrical outlet itself. If the outlet is controlled by an outside source such as a wall switch, make sure it is on.

If the printer still does not operate, the outlet may be faulty. Plug another electrical device into the outlet to check whether the outlet is operating properly.

The voltage may not be correct for your printer. Turn off the printer and make sure that the voltage of your electrical outlet matches the rating indicated on the label at the back of the printer. If the voltages match, try turning on the printer again.

If the voltages do not match, disconnect the power cable and contact your dealer immediately.
