Understanding default settings

This section describes the settings and options available in the default-setting mode.

All items available in the default setting mode are divided into three groups depending on the applications. You can select the three main menus while making the default settings and then change the setting of each item which belongs to the menu you selected. On the Common Settings menu, you can change the settings which are effective in all three application modes. On the PR2 Mode Settings menu, you can change the settings which are active in the PR2 mode. Then you can change the settings active in the ESC/P and IBM PPDS modes on the Other Emulation Settings menu.

These settings are shown in the following tables and explained in detail after the each table.
