1 = verbose mode is on, default for RS-232 host control; responses are echoed to the host and displayed to the user 2 = send tagged responses for queries

X3#= Administrator password has 4 to 12 alphanumeric characters and is case sensitive. Special characters (spaces, symbols) not allowed.

X4!= Password displayed on screen. When the IPI connects to a host device via RS-232, the password is shown. When the connection is via IP, 4 asterisks are shown (or an empty field if no password has been assigned).
