Installation
The Microkey Switchboard7 installation process is initiated by the Netopia ISDN Modem installation process. Switchboard7 determines the operating system running on your computer. If you respond with “YES,” the old drivers will be removed from the SYSTEM.INI file. The installation program will automatically create a backup of your old SYSTEM.INI file.
Enter YES to continue the installation. If you enter NO, the installation will be aborted and the following message will be displayed on screen, “User has cancelled Installation.”
When the installation is finished, the follow message will be displayed, “High speed Drivers Installed. “SYSTEM,INI” Modified. Current “SYSTEM.INI” BACKED UP TO “SYSTEM.XXX”
Click OK. The following message will be displayed. “INSTALLATION
COMPLETE. RESTART WINDOWS TO ACTIVATE INSTALLED DRIVERS.
Restart Windows to complete the installation.
If there is a problem during the installation, you will receive the following error message, “ERROR DURING INSTALLATION, ERROR CODE XX.” If you see this message, record the error code listed in the message, locate the corresponding error code in the error codes table below, and take the corrective action associated with the error code.
