Configuration using a PC

This chapter explains how to configure your Netopia ISDN Modem using a PC.

You will install the Netopia Windows configuration software and use it to configure your ISDN modem under Windows, Windows 95, and Windows NT. You need to install the DOS configuration software and use it to configure the ISDN modem under DOS.

Important: Configuring your Netopia ISDN Modem using Windows 95 and Windows NT is a two-step process. The first step is to use the Windows configuration software to define modem settings (page 4-2). The second step is to install a modem driver in the operating system you are using (page 4-10or page 4-16).
