Placing calls with DOS

If the D channel LED indicates a proper connection to the ISDN switch, you can place your first call. You can use any standard communications application that recognizes AT commands.

Note: Most areas require you to dial ISDN calls with 11 digits (for example, 1-800-555-1212), even for local calls.

Note that you must use Multilink PPP to make calls using two ISDN B channels. For information, see the “Using Multilink PPP” section on page 6-4.
