Auto play mode on/off [Auto Play]

The "Auto Play" menu item selects whether or not the recorder automatically starts play- back after carrying out either of the following operations.

(1)Selecting a song by using the numeric and [CLEAR/+10] keys while the recorder is stopped or playing.

(2)Selecting a song by the [SKIP/CURSOR ] keys while the recorder is playing.

<Note>: By default, when you select a desired song using the [SKIP/CURSOR ] keys or the "FILE SEL" screen while the recorder is stopped, the recorder locates the beginning of the selected song and stops. However, when you do it while the recorder is playing, the recorder starts playback after locating the beginning of the selected song. Also note that the auto play function is not available when locating ABS 0.

Select the "Auto Play" menu item on the PLAY SETUP menu screen and press the [ENTER/ YES] key. The current setting starts flashing (the default is "On") and you can now make selection. Use the [MENU] dial to select "Off" or "On" and press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm the setting.

On

The recorder starts playback after locating the beginning of the selected song (default).

 

 

Off

The recorder stops after locating the beginning of the selected song.

 

 

* To exit the MENU mode, press the [STOP/HOME] key.

Auto play on/off when powered on [Power On Play]

This menu item selects whether the recorder starts playback or not when you turn on the power with a disc is set to the disc tray.

<Note>: If you turn on the power when this menu item is set to “On”, the recorder automatically starts playback in the play mode previously selected when you turned off the power last time. For example, if the play mode was set to “PROGRAM PLAY” mode when you turned off the power last time, the recorder is starts playback in the “PROGRAM PLAY” mode after you turn on the power.

<Note>: If the play mode was set to “MEMORY PLAY” when you turned off the power last time, the recorder does not start playback after you turn on the power regardless of “Power On Play” setting.

Select the "Power On Play" menu item on the PLAY SETUP menu screen and press the [ENTER/YES] key. The current setting starts flashing (the default is "Off") and you can now make selection. Use the [MENU] dial to select "Off" or "On" and press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm the setting.

On

The recorder automatically starts playback in the previously selected play mode when powered on.

 

 

Off

The recorder stops after starting up (default).

 

 

* To exit the MENU mode, press the [STOP/HOME] key.
