In this chapter, unless otherwise specified, the value of data marked as "Reserved" that is sent from the host is ignored. In addition, unless otherwise specified, 0 is returned to the data marked as "Reserved" that is sent from the device to the host.
However, if the data marked as "Reserved" is specified for a code value such as Page Code of the Mode Sense command, unless otherwise specified, Check Condition is returned.

The ERASE command erases data of the specified number of blocks from the specified logical block address.
Logical Block Address specifies the head logical block address from which the ODD starts writing.
Transfer Length specifies the number of blocks to be transferred and written.
When Transfer Length is specified as 0, the command does not carry out data transfer. The ERASE command erases no data of the blocks and ends normally.
