•03h for normal MO media
•07h for overwrite MO media
•03h for other media or Not Ready state
The Write Protect (WP) bit indicates the state of the write protect key on the cartridge. If the WP bit is 1, the cartridge is
Mode Data Length indicates the length (bytes) of mode data to be transferred.
Block Descriptor Length indicates the length (bytes) of the block descriptor to be transferred.
