Dialog 4223 Professional

The Option unit DBY420 01/1 is an optional a ccessory, to be

installed on the bottom of your telephone set. The following devices

can be installed via the Option unit:

• Extra bell or busy indication outside your door

To check or set the option unit for extra bell or for busy signal:

í*1 Press and hold simultaneously until a ring signal is heard.

The display shows:

The Line 2 key lamp indicates the setting of the option unit:

•Off=Extra bell

• On=Busy signal lamp

• Flashing=Combined extra bell & busy lamp.

Line 2 Ô Press to change to busy signal,

Or:

Line2 ÕÔPress to change to extra bell & busy signal,

Or:

Line2 ÖÖÔPress to change to extra bell.

# Press to save the setting and exit.

Note: If you do not press #, the phone automatically

returns to idle about 30 seconds after the last key press.
