It is necessary to write text, e.g. when you are typing Absence
Information, sending a Text message or searching the integrated
telephone directory. Use the keypad to write text, e.g. when you
are sending a Text message. You have selected text mode.
Select characters by pressing digits repeatedly.
Example:
5Press a digit
Note:Key 1 is reserved for national characters.
ìPress the Volume Up key to enter the character.
Moves cursor to next position. Use also for space.
ìPress the Volume Down key as backspace to erase incorrect
entry.
Example:
444ì Enter the first character code, followed by the Volume Up key.
66ì This sequence - numbers always followed by the Volume Up
key - gives the word IN_ .
