Motor service factor
Parameter Motor service factor specifies the ratio of the actual maximum power of
the motor to its nameplate rated power.

Units

Motor service factor is a unitless number.
Motor winding cfg
Parameter Motor winding cfg specifies the winding configuration of the mot or.
The following values ar e available for Motor winding cfg:
Wye E-LN=Sqrt3*E-PH: Wye con figuration.
Delta E-LN = E-PH: Delta configuration.
The motor data sheet often lists the motor line voltage and phase voltage in place of
the winding configur ation. If the motor data sheet speci fies E-LN for the line voltage
and E-PH for the phase volta ge, then the winding configur ation can be determined
using the following relationships:
Wye configuration: E-LN = 3 x E-PH
Delta con figuration: E-LN = E-PH
Preflux Forcing
Parameter Preflux Forcing specifies the amoun t of peak current use to pre-flux th e
motor. The dimension is in per unit of motor nameplate amps. It is recommended to
use 1.0 per unit field-forcing; however, in cases where motor rating is higher than
inverter ra ting, the field- forcing Amps may h ave to be reduced to a void inverter
thermal over load during pre -fluxing. In gen eral, using high er field-forcin g Amps can
reduce pre-flux duration.
