Drive Commissioning: Maximum SpeedReferences
Parameter Description
Max forward speed Ma ximum forward r eference to the sp eed regulator. This
maximum is enforced immediately prior to the speed
regulator and after all other speed offsets have been
summed int o the reference pat h.
Max reverse speed Maximum reverse reference to the speed regulator. This
minimum is en forced immediat ely prior to th e speed
regulator and after all other speed offsets have been
summed int o the reference pat h.
Drive Commissioning: Jog Speed Setpoints
Enter the Jog speed setpoints:
When the drive is being jogged in remote mode, Remote jog speed supplants the
running reference during the time that the jog is commanded.
When the drive is being jogged in local mode, Local jog speed supplants the running
reference during th e time that the jog button is held.
Drive Commissioning: R eference Ramp Bypass
The speed reference ra mp function, which limits the rat e of change of the speed
reference, may be disabled .
Select Yes to bypass the speed refer ence ramp. Select No to enable the ramp.

Drive Commissioning: Reference Ramp Mode
Two ramp modes are availa ble for the speed reference ramp fun ction, which differ in
the way the ramp r ates are implemented:
• Indep accel/decel: Speed independent ramp rate mode.
• Prog accel/decel: Programmed ramp rate mode.
When the speed independ ent ramp rate mode is active, one acceler ation rate and one
deceleration rate ar e implemented for all speeds. The ra te of change of the speed
reference is limited to the acceleration rate when th e magnitude of the speed
reference is increas ing. The rate of change of the speed r eference is limited to the
deceleration rate wh en the magnitude of the speed refer ence is decreasing.
