Printer Location Requirements
Space Requirements
A certain amount of space is required for proper operation of the printer and also for performing
printer maintenance and replacing consumables. Use the fol lowing figures to plan for appropriate
clearances when determining a location for your printer.

CAUTION: There is a ventilation opening on the left side of the printer.To avoid overheating
and fire hazards, be sureto leave a clearance of at least 8 inches (200 mm) between this
opening and the nearest wall or othersur face.
