Beeper Duration – Good Read

The beeper duration codes modify the length of the beep the document reader emits on a good read. Default = Normal.

* Normal Beep

Short Beep

LED – Good Read

The LED indicator can be programmed On or Off in response to a good read. Default = On.

Off

LED – Indicator State

The LED indicator can be programmed to have an idle state of either Off or On, with a good read blink in the opposite state. When programmed to LED Indicator Off, the LED indicator is Off in its idle state. It blinks On for a good read, then returns to its idle Off state. When programmed to LED Indicator On, the LED indicator is On in its idle state. It blinks Off for a good read, then returns to its idle On state. (LED Indicator On can also be used as a power on indicator.) Default = LED Indicator Off.

Number of Beeps – Good Read

The number of beeps of a good read can be programmed from 1 - 9. The same number of beeps will be applied to the beeper and LED in response to a good read. For example, if you program this option to have five beeps, there will be five beeps and five LED flashes in response to a good read. The beeps and LED flashes are in sync with one another. To change the number of beeps, scan the barcode below and then scan a digit (1-9) barcode and the Save barcode on the Programming Chart inside the back cover of this manual. Default = One.
