I.INTRODUCTION

PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document provides specific installation instructions and other information you should know before you install and use the printing-system software. The installation instructions are for the following operating systems:

●Windows XP

●Windows Server 2003

●Windows Server 2008

●Windows Vista

●Windows 7

●Mac OS X v10.4 and later

WHO NEEDS THIS SOFTWARE?

All users require this printing-system software. Network clients need the installation CD, or the name of the appropriate network directory, to install the software on their individual workstations.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The following are compatible system requirements for Windows and Macintosh:

●CD-ROM or DVD drive, or Internet connection

●Dedicated universal serial bus (USB 1.1 or 2.0) connectivity port, or network connection

●Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008: 220 MB of available hard-disk space

●Mac OS X: 150 MB of available hard disk space
