4.Select Add Local Printer and either use an existing port or create a new port.

a.For a new port, select Standard TCP/IP.

b.Enter the IP Address or Host Name.

5.Answer the questions in the Add Printer Wizard until you reach the screen that shows the printer manufacturer list.

6.Click Have Disk.

7.Browse to the printer driver location using one of the following options:

CD-ROM: Browse to the \DRIVERS\[OS]\[PDL] directory for your operating system on the software CD.

Internet download: Browse to the folder where the Web files were downloaded and decompressed.

8.Select the appropriate INF file.

9.Click Open, and then click OK.

10.Select the appropriate printer.

11.Follow the remaining onscreen instructions to complete the printer installation.

UNINSTALLER

Start the Uninstaller - Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008

1.Click Start, select Settings, select Control Panel, and then select Add or Remove Programs.

2.Select the HP Color LaserJet CP4020 or CP4520 driver or software component, and then click Remove.

3.Follow the onscreen instructions to remove some or all of the printing-system components.

Start the Uninstaller - Windows Vista and Windows 7

1.Windows Vista: Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Programs and Features.

Windows 7: Click Start, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Programs and Features.

2.Select the HP Color LaserJet CP4020 or CP4520 driver or software component, and then click Uninstall/Change.

3.Follow the onscreen instructions to remove some or all of the printing-system components.

INSTALL MACINTOSH SOFTWARE FOR DIRECT CONNECTIONS (USB)

1.Make sure the product is turned on.

2.Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the CD does not run automatically, double-click the CD icon on the desktop.

3.Double-click the hpclj CP4020.mpkg or the hpclj CP4520.mpkg icon in the HP LaserJet Installer folder.
