The HP StorageWorks Network Storage Router can be configured and managed using several user interfaces (UI). Each UI is introduced in this chapter, along with information about common configuration settings. Included are:

Note: Before attempting to configure the router, a basic understanding of Fibre Channel and SCSI devices is recommended. For information on SCSI standards, refer to publications from the X3T10 committee of ANSI (American National Standards Institute). For information on Fibre Channel standards, refer to publications from the X3T11 committee of ANSI.
