2HP’s limited warranty covers only those defects which arise as a result of normal use of the product, and do not apply to any:
(a)Improper or inadequate maintenance;
(b)Software or interfacing not supplied by HP;
(c)Unauthorized modification or misuse;
(d)Operation outside the product’s environmental specifications, including duty cycle abuse or use of a mechanical switchbox without a designated surge protector;

3For HP printer products, the use of a
4If any software media product or print cartridge product proves defective during the applicable warranty period, and if the product is covered by HP’s warranty, the customer shall return the product for replacement.
5If HP receives, during the applicable warranty period, notice of a defect in hardware product which is covered by HP’s warranty, HP shall either repair or replace the product, at its option. Any replacement product may be either new or
6If HP is unable to repair or replace, as applicable, a defective product which is covered by HP’s warranty, HP shall, within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect, refund the purchase price for the product, provided the customer returns the product.
