Using SoftBench CodeAdvisor

Performing the "Check Code" Operation

This action ﬁlters all violations from the ﬁle that generated the selected violation.

To ﬁlter all violations from a speciﬁc directory and its subdirectories:

1.Select a violation generated from the directory that you want to ﬁlter.

2.Select the Dir button.

This action ﬁlters all violations from the directory that generated the selected violation. It also ﬁlters violations from subdirectories below that directory. For example, if you ﬁlter the directory /usr, you automatically ﬁlter violations from /usr/include as well.

You can also write custom rules for your project or site. See SoftBench Online Help for more details on ﬁltering rule violations.
