Managing Archive Files and Directories

Setting Archive Display Filters

The archive display ﬁlter lets you view only those archive ﬁles and directories in which you are interested. From the "Display Filter" dialog box, you can customize the ﬁlter to include any combination of options:

•Show a concise listing: Displays only the names of the ﬁles in the current archive directory.

•Show only locked ﬁles: Displays only locked ﬁles in the current archive directory.

•Files locked by an individual: Requires the user's login name in the text entry ﬁeld.

•Include subdirectories: Lists the ﬁles in the current archive directory and the ﬁles in the associated subdirectories.

•Reverse the display order: Reverses the order in which the ﬁles and directories are sorted and displayed.

•Sort by time: Displays ﬁles by the last date and time they where modiﬁed instead of alphabetically (default).

•Show numeric mode and time: Displays the time and permissions information in numeric format.

To set the display ﬁlter:

1.Choose "Options: Display Filter…".

2.In the "Display Filter" dialog box, select the desired option(s).

3.Select OK.

When you change settings, the new settings are in effect for the current session. To save settings for other sessions, select the menu item "Options: Save All Settings".
