Removing the side cover

cover f rom the serv er.

To remove the left-side cover of the server:
1. T ur n of f t he se rver and al l at t ached dev ic es an d di scon-
nect all exte rnal c ables and power cords.
2. If necessar y, u nlock the ser v er co ver.
3. Pull out on the cover-release tab at the rear of the
server; then, slide the cover toward the front of the
server and rem ove it.
Attention: For pro per cooling and airflow, replace th e
cover before turning on the server. Operating the
server for extended periods of time (over 30 minut es)
