IBM Tivoli Netcool®/OMNIbus™ Probe and Gateway Guide

This book contains introductory and reference information about probes and gateways,
including probe rules file syntax and gateway commands. For more information about
specific probes and gateways, see the documentation available for each probe and gateway

IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus GUIs contain either context-sensitive online help with index
and search capabilities, or online documentation, HTML versions of the associated guides.
Operating system considerations
All UNIX command line formats and examples are for the standard UNIX shell. UNIX is
case-sensitive. You must type commands as shown in the book.
