Complex Samples Descriptives
The Complex Samples Descriptives procedure displays univariate summary statisticsfor several
variables. Optionally, you can request statisticsby subgroups, defined by one or more categorical
variables.

Using Complex Samples Descriptives to Analyze Activity Levels

A researcher wants to study the activity levels ofU.S. citizens, using the results of the National
Health InterviewSurvey (NHIS) and a previously created analysis plan. For more information,

A subset of the 2000 survey is collectedin nhis2000_subset.sav. The analysis plan is stored
in nhis2000_subset.csaplan.For more information, see the topic Sample Files in Appendix A

descriptive statistics for activity levels.
Running the Analysis
ETorun a Complex Samples Descriptives analysis, from the menus choose:
