Complex Samples Ordinal Regression Statistics

Ordinal RegressionStatistics dialog box
ModelFit. Controls the displayof statistics that measure the overall model performance.
PseudoR-square. The R2statistic from linear regression does not have an exact counterpart
amongo rdinalregression models. Thereare, instead, multiple measures that attempt to mimic
the properties of the R2statistic.
Classificationtable. Displays the tabulated cross-classications of the observed category by
the model-predicted category on the dependent variable.
Parameters. This group allows you to control the display of statistics relatedto the model
parameters.
Estimate. Displays estimates of the coefcients.
Exponentiatedestimate. Displays the base of the natural logarithm raised to the power of the
estimates of the coefcients. While the estimate has nice properties for statistical testing, the
exponentiated estimate, or exp(B), is easier to interpret.
Standarderror. Displaysthe standard error for each coefcient estimate.
Confidence interval. Displays a condence interval for each coefcient estimate. The
condence level for the interval is set in the Options dialog box.
Ttest.Displays a ttest of each coefcient estimate. Thenull hypothesis for each test is that
thevalueofthecoefcientis 0.
Covariances of parameter estimates. Displays an est imate of the covariance matrix for the
model coefcients.
Correlationsof parameter estimates. Displays an estimate of the correlation matrix for the
model coefcients.
