of the average number of timesper week that a personengages in a particular type of activity. The
confidence intervals for the means are non-overlapping. Thus, you can conclude that, overall,
Americans engage in a strength activityless often than vigorous activity, and they engage in
vigorous activity less often thanmoderate activity.
