Opens the ANLG IN LVL menu, which adjusts 2-channel analog audio input levels for the selected input. Despite attempts at stan- dardization, analog audio sources have a wide range of levels. To compensate for this, the AV1 allows independent input level adjust- ment for each of its stereo analog audio input connectors. Input level adjustment is not available for either of the 5.1- channel analog audio input connectors.

Note:

Adjustments made on the ANLG IN LVL menu are applied to the stereo analog audio input connector assigned for the selected input. When another stereo analog audio input connector is assigned, these adjust- ments are automatically applied to the new connector.

Provides automatic adjustment of 2-channel analog audio input levels. When set to ON, the AV1 automatically monitors and opti- mizes input levels. When the input signal is too high, the AV1 quickly decreases input levels to avoid overload. When the input signal is too low, the AV1 slowly increases input levels to maximize signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.

When the AUTO parameter is OFF, the AV1 does not provide auto- matic adjustment of 2-channel analog audio input levels. Rather, input levels must be adjusted with the ANLG IN LVL MANUAL parameter (next page).
