ToreplacetheUSBkeyboardormouse,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.Then,disconnect
allpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
2.DisconnectthecableoftheoldUSBkeyboardormousefromthecomputer.
3.ConnectthecableofthenewUSBkeyboardormousetooneoftheUSBconnectorsonthecomputer.

Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercover
andreconnectcables.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethatallcomponentshavebeenr eassembledcorrectlyandthatnot oolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer.See“Locatingcomponents”onpage8forthelocationsofthevarious
componentsinyourcomputer.
2.Makesurethatalltheinternalcablesareroutedproperlytoavoidinterferencewithloweringthedrivebay
assemblyandclosingthecomputercover.Keepthecablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthechassis.
3.Lowerthedrivebayassembly.See“Accessingthesystemboardcomponentsanddrives”onpage14.
