Diagnosingproblems
Ifyouexperienceproblemswithyourcomputer,usetheLenovoSolutionCenterprogramasastarting
pointforsolvingthem.
TheLenovoSolutionCenterprogramenablesyoutotroubleshootandresolvecomputerproblems.It
combinesdiagnostictests,systeminformationcollection,securitystatus,andsupportinformation,along
withhintsandtipsformaximumsystemperformance.

IfyourcomputerisinstalledwiththeWindows7operatingsystem,whenyouaresettingupyourcomputer,

Troubleshooting
Ifyourcomputerhasanerror,ittypicallydisplaysamessageoranerrorcode,orabeepsoundswhen
youturniton.Whenyouexperienceaproblem,refertothecorrespondingsectionsinthistopictotryto
solvetheproblembyyourself.

Printtheseinstructionsnowandkeepitwithyourcomputerforreferencelater.
Ifyourcomputeriscompletelyunresponsive(youcannotusetheUltraNavpointingdeviceorthekeyboard),
dothefollowingsteps:
1.P ushandholdthepowerbuttonuntilthemachineturnsoff.Afterthecomputeristurnedoff,restartby
pressingthepowerbutton.Ifthemachinedoesnotturnon,continuetostep2.
