Reinstallingapreinstalledprogram
Toreinstallapreinstalledprogram,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.GototheC:\SWTOOLSdirectory.
3.OpentheAPPSfolder.Initar eseveralsubfoldersnamedforthevariouspreinstalledprograms.
4.Openthesubfolderfortheapplicationyouarereinstalling.
5.Double-clickSetup,andthenfollowtheon-scr eenstepstoreinstalltheprogram.
Reinstallingpreinstalleddevicedrivers
Attention:Whenyoureinstalldevicedrivers,youarechangingthecurrentcongurationofyourcomputer.
Reinstalldevicedriversonlywhenitisnecessarytocorrectaproblemwithyourcomputer.
Toreinstalladevicedriverforafactory-installeddevice,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.GototheC:\SWTOOLSdirectory.
3.OpentheDRIVERSfolder.WithintheDRIVERSfolderareseveralsubfoldersnamedforthevarious
devicesinstalledinyourcomputer(forexample,AUDIOandVIDEO).
4.Openthesubfolderforthedevice.
5.Reinstallthedevicedriverbyoneofthefollowingmethods:
•Inthesubfolderforthedevice,lookforatextle(alewiththeextension.txt).Thetextlecontains
informationonhowtoreinstallthatdevicedriver.
•Ifthesubfolderforthedevicecontainsaleofsetupinformation(alewiththeextension.inf),you
canusetheAddNewHardwareprogram(intheWindowsControlPanel)toreinstallthedevicedriver.
Notalldevicedriverscanbereinstalledbyuseofthisprogram.IntheAddNewHardwareprogram,
whenpromptedforthedevicedriveryouwanttoinstall,clickHaveDiskandBrowse.Thenselect
thedevicedriverlefromthedevicesubfolder.
•Inthesubfolderforthedevice,lookfortheexecutablele(alewiththeextension.exe).Double-click
thele,andfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
