qLocking, Unlocking with Transmitter (with Retractable Type Key)

The doors can be locked/unlocked by operating the keyless entry system transmitter, refer to Keyless Entry System (page 3-24).

qLocking, Unlocking with Door- Lock Knob

To lock any door from the inside, press the door-lock knob.

To unlock, pull it outward.

This does not operate the other door locks.

To lock any door with the door-lock knob from the outside, press the door-lock knob to the lock position and close the door.

This does not operate the other door locks.

NOTE

lWhen locking the doors this way, be careful not to leave the key inside the vehicle.

l(With advanced key)

The driver's door cannot be locked using

the door-lock knob from the outside.

l(With retractable type key)

The driver's door cannot be locked using

the door-lock knob from the outside if the key is in the ignition switch.

lThe red indication can be seen when the door-lock knob is unlocked.
