is of no significance for the SLAVE function in the cordless Metz remote system.
2.7 SLAVE function switch :
For normal flash photography, the mecablitz is mounted in the camera’s accessory shoe and triggered by way of the synch contact in the flash unit’s foot or a synch cable connected to the camera. For this mode set the SLAVE fun-

For operation as a SLAVE flash unit with cordless flash trig- gering, the SLAVE function switch must be set to positi- on 1 or 2, depending upon the desired SLAVE mode. For more details about the SLAVE modes see page 62.
