Using the Configuration Assistant
If Configuration Assistant is enabled for your system, you can access this voice guided configuration portal that provides
•Dynamic Extension Express (see page 64)
•DND (see page 62)
•Manual Call Forwarding (see page 62)
•
NOTE
You need a Configuration Assistant extension number to use this feature. Contact your system administrator for more information.
Changing Your Station Passcode
Before using the Configuration Assistant, Mitel recommends that you change your default station (phone) passcode to something more secure.
To change your station passcode:
1.Dial 392. ENTER PASSCODE appears.
2.Enter your current passcode (the default passcode is your extension number), followed by #. CHANGE PASSCODE TO appears.
3.Enter the new passcode followed by #. VERIFY PASSCODE appears.
4.Enter the new passcode again followed by #. DATABASE UPDATED appears.
