1. Overview

The chapters that follow provide a step-by-step guide to installing your scanner and using Nikon Scan to scan 35 mm slides or strip film. The next chapter, Parts and Accessories, lists the things you should find packaged with your LS-2000 and names the parts of the scanner. This is followed by “ Setup,” which guides you through the process of connecting your scanner to a computer and installing Nikon Scan. “ Scanning” outlines the steps involved in using Nikon Scan to scan slides and strip film.
