The Preferences dialog contains several tabs, which are detailed in the software reference manual for your platform. A brief descrip- tion of each tab is given below.

Set base gamma values for preview and final scan

Choose the color profiles used in matching input from the scanner to output colors on a monitor or other device

Choose from among multiple connected Nikon scanners
