Appendix: Nikon Scan Controls

Preferences

The Preferences dialog contains several tabs, which are detailed in the software reference manual for your platform. A brief descrip- tion of each tab is given below.

Gamma

Set base gamma values for preview and final scan

Color management

Choose the color profiles used in matching input from the scanner to output colors on a monitor or other device

Device

Choose from among multiple connected Nikon scanners

Miscellaneous (shown)

Basic scan-window settings

Scratch (Macintosh only)

Choose the disk used for temporary storage
