The chapters that follow provide a step-by-stepguide to installing your scanner and using Nikon Scan to scan 35 mm slides or strip film. The next chapter, Parts and Accessories, lists the things you should find packaged with your LS-2000and names the parts of the scanner. This is followed by “ Setup,” which guides you through the process of connecting your scanner to a computer and installing Nikon Scan. “ Scanning” outlines the steps involved in using Nikon Scan to scan slides and strip film. A separate reference section lists the controls available in Nikon Scan. We hope that you find this manual useful

Once the scan window has been re-opened,the current slide or film strip can be previewed and a new crop selected as outlined in steps 5 through 12, or the current film can be ejected and new film inserted and previewed. To eject a slide from the slide-mountadapter, press the eject button and then pull the slide the rest of the way out with your fingers
