Booting Using BFS
Perform the followingsteps to boot the Remote Access Concentrator
using BFS:
1. Initialize the IP address parameters using either th e
auto-initialize or manual initi alize method.
The auto-initializationmethod is described in Auto-initializing
the IP Address Parameters”onpage2-23.The manual
initialization methodis described in Manually Initializing the
IP Address Parameters”onpage2-26.
2. Enter theboot command.
If you do not enter a filename with the command, you are
prompted forone (the default file name is displayed at the
prompt: oper.64.enet).Press to boot using the defaultfile
name.
Thefollowing example shows a typical screen displayfor a BFS
boot using erpcd on UNIX or Windows NT:
