eraseThe erasecommand erases the contents of non-volatile memory
(EEPROMmemory). ErasingEEPROM restoresallpa rameterstofactory
default values. The syntax is:
erase
The erasecommand prompts for confirmation before erasing the
non-volatile (EEPROM) memory.
The erasecomm anddisplay looks like this:
The erase command does not erase the Ethernet address.
Since the erase command erases the IP addres s, you may need
to usethe addr command to re-enter the RemoteAccess
Concentrator’sIP address before reloading any software (if you
are usingB OOTPor RARP, you should not set the IP address).
