26 Using the Nortel Application Switch Element Manager

The Global Default TreeNode Preferences section of this screen is used

to set global preferences. The global display of tree nodes can be set by:

•Device Name

•System Name

•IP Address

•MAC Address

Tochange tree node preferences using the Tree Preferences screen,

perform the following task:

Step Action

1Open the Tree Preferencesscreen by selecting Nortel ASEM >

Tree Preferencesfrom the menu.

2Select an item in either section and use the up and down arrows to

arrange the desired order.

3Click Save TreeNodes Now to save the new preferences. The

changes take effect the nexttime ASEM is re-opened.

ASEM Context Menus

Context menus are available byr ight-clickingon any of the tree control

nodes or screens in ASEM. These context menus provideimmediate access

to commands for the switch or ports.
