Installing Disks 1 to 3

ATTENTION

Refer to the customer-specific information datasheet for host name, IP addresses, subnet masks, and so on.

ATTENTION

For installation on a brand-new machine, connect through the terminal server to the A/LOM port until after you have installed CD5. Then log out.

Log back in through the terminal server to B/Serial port for the rest of the installation.

For installations on machines that have already had a system installed, just remain on the B/Serial port.

ATTENTION

The first time you connect to a server, it generates a PuTTY Security Alert. Select Yes from the dialog box that appears. You will then be asked to log in. Use your nortel account and enter the password you have set. The passwords are time sensitive and will expire after the set number of days.
