Refer to this table when entering the following command:

Prompt	Definition	Enter
pri_db_hostname	There is only one	Hostname of the
	hostname for a	database server, for
	24-server	example,
	configuration.	micromgmtDBSvr.
sec_db_hostname	Since there is no	Re-enter hostname of
	secondary server,	the database server.
	enter again the
	pri_db_hostname
	(Hostname of the
	database server).

cd [space] /IMS/ora_cds/Disk1 [Enter]

./Oracle_Install PRIMARY <primarydb-hostname> [space] <secondarydb-hostname>[space] [space] tee [space] /tmp/oracleinstall.log

11Enter the password oracle at the Oracle prompt. [Enter]

12Retype the password: oracle [Enter]

13Select the database configuration:

1)Enterprise

2)Carrier

Accept the default [1]

[Enter]

14Is the database replicated [N]? Accept the default [N]

[Enter]

15You will then see a confirmation screen. If the information on the screen is correct, type Y. Otherwise, type N and make the changes.

Note: At this point, the program runs a check sum and untars

the files to the local directory. Approximate time: 30 - 45 minutes.

16Accept the default of the local bin directory: [/usr/local/bin]:

17Removing Disk1,Disk2,Disk3,Disk4,Disk5,Disk6 from /IMS/ora_cds [Y]?:

Y [Enter]
