The available flash range is an approximation.

Refer to P29 for the focus range.

Refer to P84 for the ISO sensitivity.

If ISO sensitivity is set to [AUTO] or [ ISO ] when using the flash, it will be automatically increased to a maximum of [ISO640].

To avoid picture noises, we recommend reducing the ISO sensitivity, setting [NOISE REDUCTION] in [PICT.ADJ.] to [HIGH] or setting the items except [NOISE REDUCTION] to [LOW] to take pictures. (P91)

In motion picture mode [i] (P75), [SCENERY] (P63), [NIGHT SCENERY] (P64), [FIREWORKS] (P66), [STARRY SKY] (P67), [AERIAL PHOTO] (P68) or [HIGH SENS.] (P68) in scene mode, the flash mode is fixed to Forced OFF [v] even if the flash is open.
