Remove the battery after use. Store the removed battery in the battery carrying case (supplied). (P9)

When fully charged battery has been inserted for more than 24 hours, the clock setting is stored (in the camera) for at least 3 months even if the battery is removed. (The storing may be shorter if the battery is not charged sufficiently.) If more than 3 months have passed, the clock setting will be lost. In this case, set the clock again. (P20)

Do not remove the card or the battery while the camera accesses the built-in memory or a card. The data may be damaged. (P17)

Remove the battery after turning the camera off and making sure the LCD monitor and the status indicator (green) are off. Otherwise, the settings on the camera may not be stored properly.

The supplied battery is designed only for use with this camera. Do not use it with any other equipment.
