Jams / Battery

Replacing the handset battery!

Replace the battery with a new Panasonic rechargeable battery Model No. P-P510. See

page 10 for accessory information.

To prevent memory loss, replace the battery within 3 minutes.

2Disconnect the battery connector and remove

the used battery.

1Carefully insert a flat metal object in the slot,

and push forward to release the lock.

Remove the handset cover off the handset.

3Connect the battery connector of the new

battery, and insert the battery into the

handset. Place the battery leads inside the

groove.

4Replace the handset cover on the handset.

●Be sure to charge the new battery for about

6 hours before use (p. 22).

Document jams – sending!

1Open the front cover by pulling up the centre

part.

2Remove the jammed document carefully.

3Close the front cover securely.

●Do not pull out the jammed paper forcibly before

opening the front cover.

If the unit does not release the document during feeding, remove the jammed document as follows:
