1.4 Button descriptions of the cordless handset
ASoft keys
LTwo soft keys are used to select the functions
displayed directly above each key.
Example:
B{TALK}
LTo make/answer calls (page 20, 21).
CNavigator
LTo adjust volume (page 17).
LTo search for a stored item (page 22).
D{SP-PHONE}
LFor speakerphone operation.
E{TONE}
LTo change from pulse to tone temporarily during
dialing when your line has rotary pulse service.
You can also use tone dial service by changing
feature #13 or feature 051 on page 45.
F{PAUSE }{REDIAL}
LTo redial one of the last 5 numbers dialed from
the cordless handset (page 20).
LTo insert a pause during dialing.
G{MENU}
LTo start programming.
H{OFF}
LTo hang up (page 20, 21).
LTo stop an operation or programming.
I{MUTE}{CLEAR}
LTo mute your voice during a conversation. Press
again to resume the conversation.
LTo erase a character/number (page 22). Press
and hold to erase all characters/numbers.
J{HOLD}{INTERCOM}
LTo make/answer intercom calls (page 28).
LTo put a call on hold (page 20).
