Call Log, Incoming

Description

If a display proprietary telephone (KX-T7030 or KX-T7130) user

cannot answer a call, the telephone will automatically record the

caller’s information. Moreover, the user can call back the caller by

checking the call log. This is available if a telephone receives

incoming outside calls using a Caller ID service. A maximum of 20

calls per telephone can be logged.

The displayed information is as follows:

• The received outside (CO) line number and name

• The date and time the call was received.

Conditions

The user’s area code must be assigned before they use the Caller ID feature.

The call is registered when the PT finishes ringing. If a call is directed to multiple PTs, the call will be registered at the PT that is connected to the lowest jack number.

Information is also recorded even if a transferred call (unscreened) is not answered.

When the call log is full (i.e. 20 calls are stored), the user can overwrite the data, replacing the oldest call with the newest one at their extension (Call Log, Incoming).

A telephone user can lock their display so that the incoming call information is not shown on the display. The operator or manager can cancel the lock.

The system automatically modifies the incoming caller’s number, depending on programming, for local or long distance calls. The modified number will be recorded so it can be called back. Users can

also modify the number manually. <Example>
