If the Following Appear on Your Display...
The following will be displayed when the unit needs your attention.
Display message | Cause & Remedy |
Recharge battery | L The battery needs to be charged. Recharge the battery |

Charge for 6h | L The battery has been discharged. The handset will not |
| work. Fully charge the battery (page 10). |
|
|
No link to base. | L The handset has lost communication with the base unit. |
Move closer to | Walk closer to the base unit and try again or |

| L Confirm the base unit’s AC adaptor is plugged in. |
| L Raise the base unit antenna. |

Please lift up | L A handset button was pressed while the handset was on |

| phonebook memory was full. Press {OFF} to exit the |

System is busy. | L The handset has lost communication with the base unit. |
Please try again | Walk closer to the base unit and try again. |
later. | L The Answering System is in use, such answering a call or |
| playing back messages. Try again later. |
|
|
Line in use | L The base unit is conducting an outside call or another |
| phone on the same telephone line is in use. |
|
|
Line on hold | L The base unit is on hold for an outside call. |
