Using VIERA Link
■■Using [VIERA LINK]
You can control some functions of the connected device with the controls or remote control of this projector.
zzIf operation is not possible, check the settings of the device.
zzFor details on operating an external device, see the manual of the relevant device.
Press the <VIERA Link> button. Alternatively, select [VIERA LINK] from [OTHER FUNCTIONS] in the [OPTION] menu, and then press the <ENTER> button.
zzThe [VIERA LINK] menu is displayed.

1111 Select [VIERA LINK CONTROL] with the ▲▼ buttons.
2222 Select the type of the device to be connected with the ◄► buttons.
3333 Press the <ENTER> button.

zz[HOME THEATER] is a system that includes the projector, an audio output device, and a video output device.
zz[OTHER] indicates tuner (such as the set top box)

(The input mode switches automatically.)

zzYou can use the controls of the projector as well as the buttons on the remote control. (The functions that you can use depend on the connected device.)
If you access a device other than a VIERA Link device

The type of the connected device is displayed.
You can access the menu of the device, but cannot use it. Use the remote control of the device to operate it.
If multiple recorders or players are connected You can connect up to three recorders or players at the same time.

Recorder 1 - 3 / Player 1
Devices of the same type connected to the HDMI terminals (1/2) on this projector are registered in an order starting from the smallest number.
For example, if two recorders are connected to HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 respectively, the recorder connected to HDMI 1 is displayed as [RECORDER 1], and the recorder connected to HDMI 2 is displayed as [RECORDER 2].
Note
zzSome operations may not be available depending on the device. In this case, use its own remote control to operate the device.
