2–6 Setting Up the Printer
Unpack the Printer
Examine the contents of the shipping carton(s) for indications of damage during
transport. If any damage is evident, contact the carrier directly to specify the
nature and extent of damage. The printer is packed in molded Styrofoam and is
also enclosed in a plastic bag to reduce the chance of moisture damage during
shipment. Refer to the unpacking instructions to remove the printer from the
shipping carton.
NOTE: Save the printer shipping materials, in case they are needed to
transport the printer to a new location.
The shipping container(s) should include the following items, in addition to this
manual. (See Figure 2–3.)
T3306 or T3308 Printer (shown in Figure 2–1 and Figure 2–2)
Tear bar (attached to printer)
Country Kit — (includes power cord and

Printer media retainer and two core adapters, if optional media rewinder
is present (shown in Figure 2–3)
NOTE: Host interface cables are supplied by the user.
