Keys
Three primary operator panel keys provide for the basic, day-to-day control of the
printer, as described below.
CANCEL Cancels all jobs, if pressed when the printer is off line

and

not in a fault state; clears all imaged and buffered data
Clears faults and puts the printer in the off line state, if
pressed when the printer is in a fault state, either on line or

not
clear imaged and buffered data
This key has no effect when the printer is on line and

FEED With the printer off line, pressing the FEED key will cause
the printer to print any labels that have been imaged and
also the current label in progress; if no label is being
processed, a blank page will print
ON LINE/PAUSE Temporarily stops the printing of labels and controls the
online/offline status of the printer. Pressing the key when
the printer is printing will:
stop the print mechanism when printing of the current
label is completed, and hold all data in memory
start the ON LINE/PAUSE indicator blinking
indicate to the host system that the printer is busy
Pressing the key when the printer is paused will:
restart the printer
turn on the ON LINE/PAUSE indicator
Pressing the key when the printer is in a fault condition
allows toggling between displaying the appropriate error
message on the message display and allowing access to
the user or service menus.
